This Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, Brad Glazer's Boy Scout Troop, Troop 6, is having its annual Pancake Breakfast at 11:00 AM. Brad would like for all of you to come as his guest. This is where we will hold our CAKES meeting that day. Just tell them at the door that you are a guest of Brad Glazer. It is at the Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church, 5950 Montgomery Road at the corner of Lester. Lester is just north of Langdon Farm Road. The scouts are the waiters. Friday thru Sunday, June 24 - June 26, St. Vincent Ferrer Festival, CAKES member Laura Conway will be working at the desert booth - funnel cakes, cotton candy and ice cream. She will also be working Saturday and Sunday - see below. Bring your sweet tooth. A bunch of us are going. Click here to download the schedule of events flyer. To quote Laura, "all are welcome to bring friends and family. It is a lively group and a lot of fun. Saturday and Sunday nights I will be working the Ducky Downs booth from 6-9 PM. The ducky races are always a lot of fun. The grand prize drawing will be @ 10:00 PM Sunday night but you do not have to be there. The winners will be called with the exciting news. Thank you all for your support in purchasing the raffle tickets."

Sunday, June 26, there is an art exhibit at Hebrew Union College showing the works of CAKES member Fred Zigler's father, Simeon Zigler. A bunch of us are going. Click here for the event flyer.
